The Azure Crown

Nessa Everette is just trying to get through her week. She has two midterms, plus another shift at the coffee shop. As if that wasn’t hard enough, now a deranged Viking is trying to kidnap her.

Nessa Everette believed her greatest adventure would be moving across the country to start college, not a near kidnapping by a deranged bounty hunter. Or falling through the Veil into the land of Avani.

And yet…

The rules are different in this new world. There’s magic, lots of it, and a kingdom that will stop at nothing to take it all. Now, Nessa must run for her life amidst a devastating war. Luckily, she has an elf guard, an infamous general and a roguish thief to help her along the way. The wizard, however, may not have all his marbles.

Nessa must come face to face with a past she's never known and discover the power that lies within her.

If she doesn't, Avani will fall.

The Crimson Kingdom

After falling through the Veil, Nessa Everette has begun to settle into her new life in Avani. Her newfound duties as princess of Calebrir, a kingdom locked in a deadly war with the power-hungry Menhir, is only complicated by the magic their enemies will stop at nothing to wield, magic that Nessa herself is still learning to control.

Menhir is getting closer to taking all of Avani and its magic with it. Nessa cannot afford to get distracted. Not by a wizard’s accidental poisoning, an assassination attempt, or a terrifying vision of Nessa captured by the enemy.

She definitely cannot focus on her growing attachment to her thief, Rinn.

Nessa discovers that Rinn has secrets of his own, ones that could cost her the kingdom. As Rinn’s past comes crashing down, Nessa is trapped in a dangerous game of who can trust who, and she needs to figure it out. Fast.

If she fails, Avani will die.

Coffee & Cohorts

Every day is a new adventure at Ollie’s Coffee House.

For its newest barista, Nessa Everette, those adventures are starting to look the same. It’s not the regular customers or the weekly visits from the Syracuse Sisters Reading Society that are lending to her sense of monotony.

It’s being alone.

Nessa left everything and everyone she knew when she moved away for college. But today is a good day. If only she could get rid of the shadows hovering at the corners of her vision.

Whither she likes it or not, Nessa may not be alone for long…
